Making & Editing 2D Animation Videos
This section showcases my skills in video editing, creation of story, filming and photographing footage for my 2D animations (using stop motion). I animate to audio from footage of some of my favourite movies and animate to mimic some of the scenes and create some of my own. I mix in my own live action footage or have green screen stock footage which is not animated and merge them. Note while I animated all the below, characters in 2D were not created by me. I took combinations of PNGs from online and animated them.
Making/Editing 2D Animaton Videos: Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) episode 3 [6:59]
This is a 2D animated project where I remade some scenes from the popular anime "Dragon Ball Z". I animated all the fights in Keynote including lighting effects e.g when shooting lasers, then added sound effects in iMovie, as well as some explosions, sound effects from the DBZ and transitions with green-screening to give a more cinematic feel. Backgrounds used were my own filmed footage (on iPhone SE), and some stills from the internet.

This is 1 of 3 in the series of my "DBZ Movies", all done in a 10-day period, whilst travelling in Alaska and a cruise.
Making/Editing 2D Animation Videos: "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring“ [43:51]
Inspired by a Lego Lord of the Rings movie, one of many Youtube movies, based on cuts from the Lego video game. Comprises of about 16000 animated slides

My creation is a 2D animation merged into some Lord of the Rings’s dialogue scenes, using audio mainly from the movie, adapted characters from Angry Birds, DC, Annoying Orange's transformers, Minecraft, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter etc for the scenes. Characters were made by me or adapted from PNGs from the internet. This is a sequel to my "Keynote Movies", a series of 31 2D animation movies, using similar adapted characters in various storylines.

Created the 2D animation, merged using iMovie, with sound clips of actors; green screen with my own video and photo footage and some backgrounds from the internet.
Making/Editing 2D Animation Videos: Echelon Vest Promotion Video insect video [1:12]
This is a promotional video I made for a fictional wearable product in a future fictional dystopian world. Our team used AI to give an idea of a wearable and the reason for the wearable in this future world. Our team mission was to create a prototype for the wearable and all background and context. We made a website to promote this and my video is embedded too. Website link: https://emmakouakou69.wixsite.com/my-site-2

I created the promotional video, including directing, creating the narrative, filming, choosing image and film footage from the internet (e.g. clips from Star Wars and Blade Runner), making the 2D animation and its background on Keynote for the super bugs, making the 3D model and camera effects for the Echelon Vest in TinkerCad, with editing and green-screen and other special effects on DaVinci Resolve.
Making/Editing 2D Animation Videos: Short fighting scene [0:34]
2D animated fighting scene on Keynote, using stop motion animation and my choreography, merged into video with green-screening, sound effects and transitions on iMovie. Footage for backgrounds are from internet and characters for the 2D animation from my "Keynote Movie" series.
Making/Editing 2D Animation Videos: DBZ episode 1 [7:37]
This is a 2D animated project where I remade some scenes from the popular anime "Dragon Ball Z". I animated all the fights in Keynote then added sound effects in DaVinci Resolve, as well as some explosions, sound effects from the DBZ and transitions with green-screening to give a more cinematic feel. Some backgrounds used were my own filmed footage (on iPhone SE), and some from the internet. I sped up some background footage to create impact of fast-moving characters. DaVinci Resolve was used instead of iMovie because a character was wearing green so I could not use green-screening of iMovie and had to use DaVinci Resolve which has a more advanced feature.

This is 1 of 3 in the series of my "DBZ Movies", all done in a 10-day period, whilst travelling in Alaska and a cruise.
Making/Editing 2D Animation Videos: DBZ episode 2 [3:16]
This is a 2D animated project where I remade some scenes from the popular anime "Dragon Ball Z". I animated all of the fights in Keynote including lighting effects e.g when shooting lasers, then added sound effects in iMovie, as well as some explosions, sound effects from the DBZ and transitions with green-screening to give a more cinematic feel. Some lighting effects were also done in movie. Some backgrounds used were my own filmed footage (iPhone SE), and some from the internet.
